e-Mail/Text Message Alert:
Beware if you receive an e-mail or text message implying it is from Southern Select CCU or any of our associated organizations.  Occaisionally members receive such messages saying their account has been/will be closed.  These are attempts to obtain confidential information (account number, Social Security or other private information).  Referred to as "phishing", sometimes they will ask you to call a telephone number, then will ask you for information.  Southern Select will never text or e-mail to request such confidential information.  If you receive such an message, do not open it.  Delete it immediately and report it to us.

E-Mail and Your Security
Southern Select will not request sensitive account information via e-mail.  Should you receive any e-mail message posing as one from us or any third party associated with us asking to verify account information such as account numbers, passwords, social security number etc., please,

Your Privacy
Keeping your personal and financial information secure is top priority at Southern Select.  We do not release information about you that we collect in connection with providing financial products or services to you.

The U.S.A. Patriot Act
In order to comply with Section 326 of the U.S.A. Patriot Act, Southern Select CCU will require copies of picture identifications which include: driver’s license; officially issued identification numbers; employer issued identifications and passports. Your help in having these items available for us when opening your account will be beneficial in serving you and the security of the United States of America.
