e-Checking

Southern Select's newest checking account is for fans of going "paperless" and who want an opportunity to earn interest! There is no minimum balance requirement -- but when your balance is over $500 you'll earn interest -- even more when your balance grows! There are no checks, so you'll receive a convenient VISA CheckCard and receive unlimited ATM transactions with no fee charged by Southern Select! You'll need to sign up for SelectAccess online banking and e-Pay Select for paying bills! You'll like the convenience of banking on the phone with SelectConnect wherever you are... and service from your mobile phone is on the way. And there's no minimum balance fee!

Preferred Checking

If you expect your checking account to do it all: earn interest; provide maximum convenience and the opportunity to earn extra on CD’s and discounts on consumer loans**, Preferred Checking is top of the line. Open with and maintain a $500 minimum to earn excellent rates based on the balance in your account… your higher balance = higher interest!
